Enable Screen Sharing with Google Chrome on MacOS

Apple MacOS contains a special procedure to enable screen sharing on browsers other than Safari. Here’s how to add Google Chrome:

1. Open System Preferences on your MacOS:

• Open Preferences from the Mac menu

2. Open ‘Security & Privacy’ option

• Double click the icon

3. Access the list of authorized screen shares

• Select the privacy tab
• Scroll down to the screen sharing option
• Click on the option

4. Add and select Google Chrome

• You may need to unlock your configuration by clicking on the padlock
• If Google Chrome is not in the list, add it by the ‘+’ button
• Then make sure the box is checked in front of ‘Google Chrome’

After restarting your Google Chrome, screen sharing will be enabled.
